The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for the strategizing, planning, development and implementation of marketing activities and campaigns for assigned events, spanning trade shows, conferences and awards programs. The key pillars of the role will involve forging partnerships, audience development, marketing campaign KPIs and people management skills. You will be a proactive individual with strong communication and project management skills.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the planning and implementation of an integrated customer-focused marketing strategy, optimise all digital channels with demonstrated ability in new marketing / event tech and social media
- Design and execute brand communications strategies and marketing plans for the events, as well as result-driven marketing promotions campaigns
- Track budgets and investments, ensuring financials are managed in an effective manner with regular evaluation of effectiveness and performance metrics
- Manage content, social media, creative and marketing agencies, including management of registration and PR vendors
- Manage partnerships with trade media and partners to extend promotional reach
- Implement a clear communication plan to promote the company's sustainability efforts and educate stakeholders about the impact of event initiatives
- Support and provide guidance to marketing team
- Collaborate with other Informa Markets offices to meet event deliverables for JV projects
- Develop agile strategies to enhance audience development through effective marketing and client/partner engagement initiatives
- Work closely with key stakeholders to gather audience and commercial insights, develop a data driven POV on what motivates our buyers, and execute effective, measurable marketing campaigns
