Responsibilities:
- Preparing credit risk related report and material for some meetings /comittees in both Singapore and Head Office.
- Analyzing/Monitoring credit quality of portfolio and reporting issues (actual or potential) in a timely manner.
- Arranging / facilitating some meetings in Singapore and supporting to adjut the schedule of senior management who attend the meeting.
- Working / liaising with other departments including Head Office departments to enhance credit risk related management framework.
- Timely assessment of credit application with appropriate analysis to support balanced / sound credit decisions, prepare concise summary paper of the relevant credit application.
- Discussion and support business units from early stage and provide feasible solutions to challenging transactions.
- Monitoring Special Credit obligors and manage credit cost.
- Keeping updated knowledge of credit policies and procedures, and supporting credit department/ front office staff to enhance their credit analytical skills in either study session, branch visit or on-the-job training.
Key requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 5 years working experience in Credit Review in Financial Institutions.
- Ability to review/ interpret financial statements and review the reasonability of business projections.
- Proficiency in Japanese is required as this role needs to prepare regular reports and to liaise with Head Office frequently.
- Team player with good listening and communication skills.
- Strong communication skills (written and spoken).
