Job summary:


The Supply Chain Assistant Manager will support the planning and execution of supply chain activities, including inventory management, procurement, and logistics. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient operations. This is a 1-year contract position with potential for extension based on performance.


Job duties:


Logistics

  • Follow up on all import shipping documents from factories and update shipment details.
  • Ensure shipment detail file is updated on a timely basis.
  • Ensure all imports arrive on time by checking carriers’ website and follow up with 3PL for timely clearance
  • Manage any discrepancies between physical stocks and documents from factory
  • Report all incoming damages to factory and follow up on resolution
  • Ensure quality issues detected by 3PL are followed by QA with factory for resolution and handle all claim process
  • Report to factory immediately all temperature excursion incidences
  • To support GSA Finance - raise PO for all logistics spend, perform goods receipt in PO system, verify invoice, make accruals and prepare logistic cost dashboard.

Customer service

  • Check customer orders received is align with allocation provided by Supply Planner
  • Release customer orders into RDC system
  • Update and consolidate actual shipped orders to ensure customer’s orders are fulfilled
  • Issue invoice and attach COA for all export shipments
  • Co-ordinate with 3PL and Freight forwarder to ensure on-time shipment to customers
  • Ensure all redressed products are shipped within agreed time in 3PL contract
  • Ensure completeness of export documents before filing

Planning

  • Support regional planners to take actions to manage ageing stocks
  • Working with selected factories to review supply planning to ensure supply is within target range and shipment is on time. Provide early alerts to markets when there is potential risk of out of stock
  • Other duties as required by Manager or as per detailed in any updated Standard Operating Procedure
