Job Scope
- Develop and maintain residents' capacity to perform day-to-day tasks and roles essential to productive living.
- Design treatment programmes to enhance physical, cognitive and psychological functions, prevent illness, facilitate independent living, improve quality of life, and promote the reintegration of residents with a range of conditions.
- Establish or expand programmes or develop new, innovative learning opportunity to upgrade therapy assistants' capabilities.
- Responsible for therapist assistants' induction, clinical education / training, in-service education, unit and core-based professional growth and precept therapy assistants.
Job Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Registered with Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC)
- Preferably 2 years related experience in OT in elder care setting coupled with managerial skills
- Proficient in Microsoft words, excel and powerpoint
- Good communication skills
