RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Generate layout drawings, procedures, and technical specifications.
- Draft comprehensive scope of work for all mechanical engineering tasks.
- Produce technical specifications, requisitions, and detailed drawings (including plans, elevations, and arrangements).
- Coordinate engineering designs and manage interface-related issues.
- Strategize, develop, and innovate new products in alignment with project requirements.
- Enhance existing product designs for optimal performance and efficiency.
- Offer technical expertise to bridge the gap between product design and manufacturing processes.
- Lead and oversee investigations into the form and function of design features.
- Develop and refine technical drawings of mechanical parts and assemblies to convey design intent and guide manufacturing processes.
- Create communication documents to effectively convey design details to clients or manufacturing partners.
- Establish and maintain design history files for documentation and reference purposes.
- Validate system and product capabilities by designing and conducting feasibility studies and testing methods.
- Innovate manufacturing processes by designing and adapting equipment for component fabrication, assembly, and installation.
- Ensure system and product quality through the design and implementation of testing methods; verify finished product and system capabilities; validate fabrication, assembly, and installation procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics or any related field in Engineering.
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in Engineering and Product Design, specifically in pressure vessels.
- Proficient in SolidWorks with a strong understanding of AutoCAD 3D or equivalent software, as well as valve differential designs.
- Familiarity with NFPA and relevant international pipeline design Codes and Standards is essential.
