Job Description:
A dedicated social service agency based in Singapore, focused on community service and mentoring future generations. Their operations include three childcare centres, three youth hubs, and three student care centres, along with various programs for children, youths, and seniors. The goal is to carry out research, analyzing data, and supporting evidence-based practices. This role involves collaborating closely with the research team to gather, interpret, and share information pertinent to the agency’s programs and services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Literature Reviews and Research: Conduct thorough reviews of existing literature and research to identify best practices applicable to our service areas.
- Service Analysis: Evaluate current services, using evidence and data to pinpoint areas needing improvement.
- Evaluation Frameworks: Create and apply frameworks to assess the effectiveness and impact of existing programs.
- Program Development: Work with various services to co-create new program models or enhance current ones using evidence-based insights and research.
- Reporting: Prepare and deliver reports to management and stakeholders, presenting findings and recommendations.
- Staff Training: Lead training sessions for staff on evidence-based practices and data-driven decision-making.
- Resource Development: Source and develop resources and tools to assist staff in applying research-informed methods.
- Research Updates: Keep abreast of the latest research and trends in social services and share relevant knowledge with the team.
Requirements:
- Minimum with a Degree in Arts/Social Work/ Business Admin or equivalent in any discipline
- At least 3 years of experience and strong knowledge in social sciences and research methodologies.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A team player and able to work independently
