Network Operations Engineer
Our client is looking for a network operations engineer for tier-1/2 network monitoring and operations of IDC network.
Responsibilities:
- You will respond to, follow up on and drive the resolution of network alarms and faults.
- You will follow up on and finish network break fixes e.g. switch replacement, link repairing and dark fiber restoration.
- You will be responsible for conducting simple network maintenance activities.
Requirements:
- Ideally at least 3 years of experience in data center network monitoring and operations.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP and routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, etc.
- Proficient in network troubleshooting – experience with Linux preferred.
- Professional certifications preferred e.g. CCNA, JNCIA, etc.
- Able to work shifts: 10am to 6pm (Day) / 4pm to 12am (Night) – 2 day shifts and 2 night shifts with 2 rest days
