Title: Senior Regional Senior Category Manager (Capex MRO/EPC)

They are looking to hire a Regional Senior Category Manager, a Subject Matter Expert who is the critical point of contact in terms of procurement advice to ensure a smooth flow of end to end procurement and sourcing strategies for global sites, optimally supporting their Capex MRO & EPC needs to maximize business profitability.
Reporting to the Group Procurement Head and this position will be focusing on the below:
- Partner actively with Digitalization, Tendering and Market procurement teams to strategize and derive competitive winning proposals to secure cost-competitive contracts for both direct and indirect spends, focusing on the renewable energy categories
- Develop efficient regional Sourcing methodologies and Procurement Governance checklists to optimally support the success of new builts/new developments globally
- Lead and improve MRO/EPC Category strategies by staying aligned with up-to-date procurement regulations and market trends, with the key objective to make happen effective Alternate Sourcing work flow where required
- Streamline regional/ global supplier base by means of deep dive analysis and possible consolidation, with the key objective to make happen smooth SAP S4 HANA system implementation
- Enable improvements in strategic supplier contracts negotiations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 8 - 10 years of relevant experience in end-to-end Procurement and Strategic Sourcing Management experience for EPC, MRO, Capex spend preferably in renewable energy, oil and gas or chemical industries environment
- Proven track record in acquired solution-oriented mind set to manage complex negotiations and contracts managements for multiple sites in Singapore and beyond
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills to relay and/or drive process improvements across a global organization to important stakeholders
- Good understanding of GEP System and equivalent ERP system is highly preferred
