Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, contractors, facility managers, and other decision-makers to understand their lighting requirements and propose tailored solutions
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities in Singapore and assigned territories
- Collaborate with relevant project stakeholders to provide specification works for decorative and architecture lightings
- Preparation of proposals, product specification and datasheet
- Provide solutions for control and automation of lighting systems
- Introduce Lighting Products and Solutions at a retail level
- Achieve sales targets and goals, with a focus on high value projects in the commercial and luxury residential segments.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers in the target market segment
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the target market segment
- Track and report sales activities, pipeline status, and market intelligence to the management team
Job Requirements
- Tertiary education in Marketing, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of successful sales experience in Singapore, preferably in the lighting or related industries
- Strong understanding of lighting technologies and applications, with knowledge of local building codes and energy efficiency standards
- Able to travel around Singapore if required.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite
- Good communication & initiative skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin.
- Ability to use AutoCAD (preferable but not a requirement.)
