POSITION: Sales Administrator (ECS)
LOCATION: Singapore
REPORTING LINE: Sales Director of Electrical Connectors Division
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: You work as part of an office-based admin support to the ECS team of 4 sales engineers/director; coordinating between the sales team with customer/prospect visits, calls and e-mail.
- Provide support to Outdoor Sales Team on quotations and proposals
- Manage and follow-up tele-enquiries, email-enquiries
- Handling of incoming calls and collections
- Process of sales orders and ensure orders fulfilment
- Coordinating all deliveries to ensure efficient and effective services to the customers
- Create and maintain both inventory and customer databases
- Conduct mass mailing and tele-marketing periodically
- Assist in organizing exhibitions and seminars as and when needed
- Manage samples, catalogues and flyers
- Any other ad-hoc duties which may be assigned to you from time to time
Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years experiences in sales admin support
- A team player, self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently
- Display initiative to follow up with teams or customers
- Good at coordinating and remains clear of priorities.
- Able to display trouble-shooting skills independently, when needed.
- Language literacy – fluent in English to communicate on both email and call
- Proficient in computer knowledge (Microsoft Office)
- SAP – some prior experience would be a bonus or at least not afraid to learn SAP
- Some physical activities - unpacking of shipment to re-arrange for local delivery
