Responsibilities:
- Measure and prepare tender documentation and negotiate with contractors
- Source quotation, liaise and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers
- Work closely with the project team to estimate cost and quantity take-off
- Manage on project budget to ensure not exceeding allowable budget
- Preparing safety documentation for submission
- Assist in pre-contract and post-contract of projects
- Deal with significant contractual issues including extension of time, loss and expense claims, terms and conditions etc.
- Evaluate and process vendors claims
- Prepare monthly progress claims, variation orders and final accounts
- Verification of sub-contractor payment, vo and final account
- Handle other assigned duties or related job as required
Requirements:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering/Quantity Surveying or equilavent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in related field
- Familiar with local standards, project implementations & building codes
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Mandarin speaking & written is essential knowledge due to coordinate with chinese client and project team
