Responsibilities:
- Conducts research on industry and company-specific due diligence related to potential transactions; analyses and evaluates a combination of industry, investment environment, competitive and valuation analysis for new and existing investment opportunities
- Responsibility for in-depth analysis of a portfolio of industry sectors and countries in the target investment regions as assigned
- Generate ideas, recommendations and analyses in response to events in target markets and monitor market trends and write in-depth, high quality and timely research on trends, market and political developments
- Extensive financial modelling including sensitivity analysis to support potential investment opportunities
- Provide financial evaluation of project investment opportunities including review of project documents such as the investment term sheet and various legal agreement and investment agreements
- Maintain internal database of deal flow, potential investments and opportunities
- Gather and synthesize industry/market data and build detailed company financial models of value companies using the various methodologies (discounted cash flow, comparable company, precedent transactions, asset based valuation, dividend discount, amongst others).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in investment analysis, financial modeling, or valuation, preferably in private equity
- Proficiency in valuation methodologies including DCF, CCA, and PTA.
- Strong financial modeling skills with expertise in Excel and financial analysis tools.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia is a must
- Ability to analyze complex financial statements, understand business models, and assess investment opportunities.
- Knowledge of the Indonesian market, regulatory environment, and industry trends
