Job Description:
To perform preventive and corrective maintenance works on equipment, and standby
duties as required so that the equipment can function properly and operate safely.
Requirements:
1. Carry out preventive maintenance works in accordance to the schedule.
2. Carry out corrective maintenance works as when required.
3. Observe safety work procedures.
4. Ensure that tools provided are properly kept and used.
5. Observe proper behaviour while working.
6. Perform standby works when required.
7. Follow-up on breakdown report and assist Standby Section where required.
8. Assist the Supervisor and Senior Technician I in carrying out the function of the section.
9. Report to the superior on all matters relating to the section.
10. Carry out any other duties as assigned by superior.
11. To keep proper records of works carried out in the relevant reports.
12. Attend to the building or equipment inspection as required, by law (BCD, FSB).
13. Assist in conducting investigation of damages/accidents to equipment or personnel.
14. Follow-up on QC and QA defects.
15. Ensure compliance to Environmental Policy, reduction of waste and prevention of pollution.
