Assistant Finance Manager

POSITION SUMMARY


Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the management of all Operational Accounting, Group Finance Function & Corporate Accounting.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensuring all accounting activities comply with group accounting policies and SFRS.
  • Providing monthly management reporting, extracting data from designed and structured templates with visual basics macros and SQL embedded.
  • Responsible for all treasury & cash flow management matters, including forex gain & loss and establishing & maintaining internal controls and financial policies & procedures.
  • Responsible for all tax matters, including submission of tax returns & related obligations.
  • Analysing the current/past trends & key performance indicators including of all revenues, cost of sales, fixed cost, and capital expenditures.
  • Managing the finance team and liaising with internal and external auditors in relation to audit requirements and deliverables, including preparation of audited financial statements.
  • Overseeing the subsidiaries finance functions both locally & overseas.
  • Any other task assigned by Reporting Officer.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in accountancy with ACCA or CPA with minimum of 5 years of relevant experience within Distribution or Logistics industry.
  • Experienced in managing subsidiaries in China & Indonesia and dealing with chemicals & rubber products will be preferred.
  • Experienced working in SMEs previously and willing to work in a small team will be preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic programming knowledge and SQL is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications including Access and VBA (Macros).
  • Familiar with Microsoft Business Central (NAVISION) & Dynamics 365.
