Reports to: Vice President, Talent Management & Development


Overview: As the Assistant Manager, Talent Management, you will be responsible for managing and implementing the company's talent management programs. You'll work closely with senior management to develop strategies that identify, nurture, and retain top talent, ensuring the company’s workforce is equipped for future growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Review & Development: Lead the company’s talent reviews, assessments, and succession planning to identify high-potential employees.
  • Competency Frameworks: Develop leadership and functional competency frameworks that align with business needs.
  • Talent Policies: Create and implement policies that improve talent attraction, development, and retention.
  • Pipeline Programs: Manage talent pipeline programs such as scholarships and overseas manager schemes to prepare employees for future roles.
  • Succession Planning: Ensure proper follow-through on talent review actions, focusing on key positions and succession plans.
  • Development Programs: Design and oversee development programs such as mentorships and leadership training.
  • Data & Analytics: Analyze talent data and create reports to guide decision-making for management.
  • Career Development: Coach employees on their career growth and development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in talent management.
  • Strong understanding of talent assessment tools and development strategies.
  • Comfortable working with data and preparing presentations for senior management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; coaching experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with HR software like SuccessFactors is preferred.
