Who we are looking for
The Project Engineer will be responsible for supporting the technical execution of water and wastewater treatment projects. You will work closely with senior project team members, ensuring that engineering aspects are met and project milestones are achieved.
What you will be doing
- Assist in the design and development of water treatment and wastewater projects.
- Support project execution through technical evaluation, analysis, and recommendations.
- Prepare project-related documentation including technical reports, specifications, and drawings.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor engineering performance on project sites.
- Collaborate with the project team to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
- Support the project management team in ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Provide input for process optimization and continuous improvement in project design.
- Perform other duties as needed.

- Experience in decision-making, identifying, assessing, evaluating, and solving complex problems.

- Strong project management skills, with experience in organizing, planning, and executing projects from pursuit through closeout, involving internal disciplines, contractors and vendors.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering required.
- 1 to 3 years of progressive experience within a water/wastewater treatment environment with thorough knowledge of methods, techniques, principles, and practices of water/wastewater treatment, water distribution, and wastewater collection.
- Strong communication, skilled in report and technical writing, organization, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to lead and manage team members and projects.
- The background will ideally include project work and process knowledge of site work, hydraulics, pipeline, and water/wastewater treatment.
- Project Management Profession (PMP) is preferred.
- Strong PC skills with proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, database, and the ability to optimize the use of technology and systems to communicate, manage budget and to streamline processes, and increase efficiency.
- Preferable with a valid driver’s license of class 3.
