Overview:
With clear understanding in company’s core competence and industrial trends, the Sales Manager is accountable for achieving order and sales budget of company’s power electronics products and solutions in the segments of data centre, semiconductor, power and general industries. The incumbent is also responsible for identifying opportunities and building relationship in the field of renewables and carbon neutrality.
The Sales Manager reports to the Head of Sales.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
1. Analysis and Strategy Development:
- Conduct research, identify target customers, partners and other key stakeholders
- Develop effective Go-To-Market wining strategies and action plan
2. Pipeline Building and Sales Achieving
- Proactively reach out to targeted potential clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to showcase the Organization's products/services and value proposition
- Collaborate with team to tailor solutions to meet customer needs
- Build up realistic prospects and healthy order pipeline
- Drive the entire sales cycle from prospecting and initial contact to negotiation, contract closure and project implementation to achieve budget
3. Business Development:
- Monitor industrial and market trends to identify business opportunities
- Generate leads through networking, industry events, and leveraging on digital platforms
- Establish and maintain strong relation with key decision-makers to drive business opportunities and partnerships
4. Reporting:
- Prospects, Orders & Sales Forecasting with rigorous update
- Track and report on sales metrics, pipeline development, and market trends to management on a regular basis
- Utilize data-driven insights to assess the effectiveness of sales and marketing initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide actionable recommendations to optimize business strategies and achieve revenue targets.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Power Electronics / Electrical Engineering
- 4 – 6 years B2B sales / marketing experience with proven track records, preferably on power electronics and/or power quality products / solutions. Experience on projects, services or consultancy will be given with added consideration.
- Creative in both solutions and deal making with high energy, Can-Do spirit and drive to success
- Excellent in written and verbal communication and presentation
