Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the Project Quality & Safety Plan, contract requirements, including drawings and specifications.
- Establish and implement controls to ensure that works are carried out safely according to the works programme.
- Oversee the construction activities and progress, including planning, implementation, and monitoring work schedules in accordance with the master and detailed work program.
- Ensure that all corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively and that quality records are properly maintained.
- Coordinate with all parties and support site construction progress.
- Monitor and control progress to ensure that turnover and cost are in line with the master construction program.
- Be responsible for the planning and scheduling of time for the project in charge.
- Assist in planning, programming, and monitoring the progress of construction works.
- Liaise with the client's representative, relevant authorities, and consultants.
- Identify and assess any foreseeable risks arising from the workplace or work processes, and minimize environmental impact associated with the construction activities.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline, recognized by Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore
- At least 5 years’ relevant experience with good experience in infrastructure projects
- Able to lead and work independently.
- Excellent team player, good interpersonal skills and a “can-do” attitude
- Strong business acumen with strong analytical skills
- Strong communication, negotiation and planning skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
