Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will study tender specifications and prepare accurate quotations for security system integration projects. Additionally, they will produce detailed design drawings using CAD and BIM software. This role requires both technical drafting skills and an understanding of tender processes to ensure that bids are competitive and meet client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyze tender documents, specifications, and drawings related to security systems (CCTV, access control, intercom, etc.).
Prepare detailed and competitive quotations based on tender specifications and project requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary data, such as material costs, labor estimates, and timelines for quotations.
Ensure that all tender submissions are compliant with client specifications and industry standards.
Produce technical drawings and layouts using CAD and BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit) for project designs.
Maintain and update design documentation and manage drawing revisions.
Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings and design modifications as needed.
Track and manage the submission of tenders, ensuring deadlines are met.
Requirements:
> ITE or Diploma in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
> Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and experience with BIM will be an advantage.
> Experience in reviewing tender specifications and preparing cost estimates or quotations.
> Familiarity with security system components (CCTV, access control, intercom) is preferred.
> Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in both quotation preparation and drafting.
> Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
> Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, engineers, and suppliers.
