We opened our first store in February 2016 to fill a gap in the market for the type of high quality all-natural food that we would love to feed our own families. With 6 Retail Stores, an E-Commerce platform, 5 Café-Bistros, the Starter Lab Bakery Factory, we now have more than 350 team members! Role of Chef de Partie:

  • Prepare menu in accordance with the café / bistro's excellent standards of quality and delectable recipes
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene by ensuring all cooking equipment are clean and kept properly
  • Assist in inventory control of kitchen supplies and equipment
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations, according to government regulations
  • Maintain positive working relationships with the Front-of-House and retail team members
  • Any other duties as assigned

*Learning and training opportunities leading to growth and salary increments:

  • Cook / Commis --> Chef de Partie --> Junior Sous Chef --> Sous Chef --> Head Chef

Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience in using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware
  • Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods, such as grilling, baking, boiling etc.
  • Possess food hygiene and safety certification
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly responsible and reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow team members as part of a team
  • Able to work on weekends and public holidays (5-day roster)
