- To manage a team of supervisors, workers, sub-contractors and vendors to execute works within given timeframe.
- To resolve site issues with supervisors, sub-contractors, vendors, main contractors and/or related third parties.
- To co-ordinate site works, workflows and inspections with main contractors’ site representatives including attending site co-ordination meetings.
- To plan, implement and monitor weekly works activities with a team of supervisors in accordance to the master schedule.
- To enforce and monitor all supervisors, workers and sub-contractors abide to safety, health and environment rules and regulations.
- To prepare shop drawings, ‘AS-Built” drawings and Materials Bill of Quantities required for the project.
- Check/develop electrical engineering on single line diagram, equipment selection, commissioning, and handover of project.
- Understand SCADA system to monitor M&E equipment migration/replacement and troubleshooting.
- Organize and lead the interface review meetings with internal and external parties.
- Identify critical areas and potential conflicts relating to interfaces and project budgetary.
- Work with internal stakeholders and coordinate the requirements with specialist contractors to produce control logic.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, recognised by PEB Singapore
- At least 10 years’ experience in the operation of mechanical or MEP system
- Familiar with the electrical and mechanical systems used in a data center environment, including feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, ATS/STS unit, PDU/PMM unit, chillers, air handling unit and CRAC unit
- Able to work independently and under pressure to ensure good site progress
- Good safety knowledge and attitude
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Self-motivated with good organizational skills and ability to liaise with the authorities
