Responsibilities

The Regional IT Customer Solutions Senior Manager role is responsible for developing IT programs for Customer Solutions management, bringing a unique combination of IT knowledge, Supply Chain solutions knowledge and deep understanding of our customers and their technical and operational requirements to influence the business and our customers in selecting the right IT solution for the operation.

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with opportunity sponsors and owners
  • Develop IT response for multi-country RFQs which include defining scope, timeline, and commercial.
  • Develop IT owned O2D deliverables during business pursuit for multi country bid across the region
  • Conduct IT solution concept peer review and work to obtain sign off from IT stakeholders.
  • Develop IT marketing material, articulate the value of IT across the region
  • Ensure effective communication and escalation to resolve
  • Support in-country IT Customer Solutions community across the region
  • Present and sell IT solution proposal to customer
  • Define requirements scope, timeline, budget, the IT solutions during business pursuit phase.
  • Develop IT solutions proposal.
  • Conduct IT proposal handover session with IT Project Manager prior to project implementation phase.
  • Stakeholders management
  • Provide end-to-end project governance oversight for strategic projects: ensuring a DePICT project management methodology is being adhered to, project is resourced adequately, the right stakeholders are identified and engaged in the project, communication plan is in-place and being follow through, project change request, risk and issue are being managed effectively.
  • Support IT senior management with management information and presentations.
  • Drives and influences multiple teams without formal authority
  • Operate regionally in diverse environments and cultures
  • Manage expectation of Regional Business Development team and act as the voice of country IT in regional pursuits


Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical experience in selling and implementing Supply Chain IT solutions in logistics industry
  • 3+ years of experience in IT project management and APAC working experience in complex cross-functional organization
  • Strong expertise in stakeholder management
  • Knowledge of financial modelling as it pertains to IT investments
  • Systems Thinking - the ability to see how parts interact with the whole (big picture thinking)
  • Interpersonal and leadership skills - collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills
  • Emotional intelligence - confidence, ability to manage conflict, empathy
  • Ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that non-technical people may understand
  • Knowledge of IT governance and operations
  • Time management and prioritization
  • Experience working across APAC region
  • Experience in developing holistic supply chain solutions serving multiple customers/industries


General knowledge of IT methods and practices :

  • Requirements gathering and definition
  • Proven ability to champion an idea and bring a group to consensus
  • Able to assess risk from both technical and business viewpoint
  • Deep analytical skills - ability to define critical components/path
  • Able to negotiate and resolve conflicts - Influencing skils
  • Excellent communication in verbal and written English (Tailored to all levels and audiences) - ability to conceptualise, visualise
  • Ability to integrate the solution to domains/standards and best practices
  • Demonstrable planning and estimating skills
  • Knowledge of S/W development lifecycle & support.
  • Project management hands on experience and expertise as well as ability to adopt a consulting style as appropriate
  • Good understanding of multiple technologies (ego RDBMS, Cloud Computing / SaaS, Mobile , SOA, UI, Integration, SQL, .NET platform, Java, Open Source, Web services)
