Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the Project Quality & Safety Plan, contract requirements, including drawings and specifications
- Establish and implement controls to ensure that works are carried out safely according to the works programme
- Overseeing the construction activities and progress, planning, implementation and monitoring work schedules in accordance to the master and detailed work program.
- Ensure that all corrective action or preventive action is implemented effectively and quality records are properly maintained
- Coordinate with all parties and support site construction progress.
- Assist the Project Manager in the daily execution of work
- Assist Project Manager in monthly progress claims and monthly progress reports.
- Monitor and control progress to make sure that turnover and cost is in line with master construction program
- Checking plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations and highlight discrepancies
- Be responsible for the planning and scheduling of time for project in-charge.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline, recognized by Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore
- At least 5 years’ relevant experience with good experience in infrastructure projects
- Able to lead and work independently.
- Excellent team player, good interpersonal skills and a “can-do” attitude
- Strong business acumen with strong analytical skills
- Strong communication, negotiation and planning skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
