Job Summary
We’re looking for a dynamic and innovative DevOps Engineer to join our team! Mandatory Skill-set
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and related Discipline;
- Has Google Cloud certification as a Professional Cloud Developer or Cloud Architect;
- Have minimum 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP);
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or on-premises infrastructure;
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, migration, and deployment strategies;
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++;
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git;
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Desired Skill-set
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes;
- Familiarity with machine learning and data analytics concepts.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and manage secure, scalable, and efficient cloud-based systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP);
- Develop and deploy cloud-native applications using services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, and Cloud Storage;
- Lead the migration of on-premises infrastructure to GCP, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal resource utilization;
- Implement and maintain security measures, including Identity and Access Management (IAM) and compliance with regulatory requirements;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop effective technical solutions;
- Monitor, log, and optimize system performance using tools like Stackdriver and Cloud Monitoring;
- Stay up to date with GCP innovations and best practices to continuously improve cloud architecture.
