A Cleaning Supervisor oversees the operations of a cleaning team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Responsibilities include scheduling staff, inspecting facilities, ordering supplies, and resolving customer complaints.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate the work of cleaning staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations
• Inspect and evaluate the work of cleaning staff to ensure that high standards of cleanliness are maintained
• Train and develop cleaning staff to ensure that they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure that all areas are cleaned timely and thoroughly
• Order and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Respond to and resolve customer complaints related to cleaning services
• Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure that cleaning staff are working in a safe environment
• Prepare reports and maintain records of cleaning operations and staff performance for review by management
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a cleaning supervisor or similar role
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
• Ability to create and implement cleaning schedules and procedures
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team of cleaners
• Attention to detail and ability to identify areas that need improvement
