The candidate will support Aramco Asia network infrastructure daily operations, lead network projects, and work with external partners to bring new networking technologies.
- Perform independently or as a team member for all phases of complex network projects including design, implementation, troubleshooting, procurement and documentation.
- Lead complex IT project implementation related to Networking, Video Conferencing, Cisco/MS Teams voice solutions and etc.
- Technically evaluate and compare different IT solutions and provide recommendation.
- Gather requirements, design, set-up, configure, administer, and troubleshoot with various network technologies such as router, switch, firewall, WAN, IP phone, MS Teams, Wi-Fi, video conference and authentication technologies.
- Maintain reliable and secure network operations by setting up and operating different supporting technologies and services.
- Suggest improvement in network system designs and company processes to improve reliability, security and efficiency.
- Research troubleshoot and resolve IT issues with minimal supervision.
- Guide and assist peers for issue resolutions and project related tasks.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by the Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Professional certification CCIE holder or equivalent experience.
- More than 9 years of experience as a network engineer.
- In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF), network router/switch, Cisco Voice & MS Teams with hands-on skill.
- Experience of Switching, Routing, Firewall, Load Balancer, Multifactor Authentication, Video Conference, Web conference systems.
- Holding Cisco, Juniper, RSA, F5, ITIL certification(s) is a plus.
- Project & vendor management experiences.
- Proficient oral and written English
