Scope of Services:
The ICT Support Personnel will be responsible for managing and maintaining the school’s ICT devices and providing technical support to users. The key duties include:
- Device Management:Manage and maintain ICT devices, equipment, peripherals, and gadgets owned by the school.
- Technical Support:Provide technical and application support to users during school hours.
Assist in troubleshooting issues with ICT devices.
- Device Maintenance:Handle the installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of ICT devices.
Maintain tracking lists (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Spreadsheet) to monitor the loan and return of devices.
- Inventory Management:Manage ICT and Audio-Visual (AV) inventory in the school.
- Resource Setup:Deliver and set up ICT devices or resources in requested rooms or areas within the school.
- Vendor Supervision:Assist and supervise ICT vendors during the delivery of services or goods.
- Administrative Support:Process paperwork such as Loan Forms and ICT Request Forms.
Handle related ICT administrative tasks.
- Event Support:Assist in setting up audio, projectors, and notebooks for school programs and events.
Provide support for audio and video production as needed.
- Training:Conduct ICT baseline skills training (e.g., Microsoft and Google applications) and video-related training for students.
- Collaboration:Support and report to the HOD ICT, Subject Head ICT, ICT Manager, and ICT Associate.
Work in tandem with Desktop Engineers (DEs) deployed in the school.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Mandatory:
- Diploma in IT-related field.
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience conducting enrichment workshops or equivalent activities in schools.
Preferred:
- 1 year of experience as an ICT Executive or similar role in a school setting.
- Experience in troubleshooting ICT devices.
- Knowledge of Audio-Visual (AV) setup in school environments.
- Experience in audio and video production for school events.
- Ability to use video editing software and applications.
- Registered under MOE’s Registration and Engagement Management System (REMS 2.0).
