POSITION SUMMARY
- Responsible to operate the plant equipment to manufacture Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients in OSP, based on established Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Contribute to achieve our vision of being the best in class manufacturing site, producing highest quality products in the safest way
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Material receiving, staging, material movement, dispensing, sampling, filter inspection, change out and charging operation as per SOP.
- Perform sampling, intermediate and finished goods pack out as per SOP.
- Perform pre-campaign set up, post campaign activities and change over cleaning.
- Monitor process operation, trend and alarm using Delta V control system..
- Ensure proper communication and handling over of shift duties.
- Responsible for the updating of Manufacturing Standard Work and Operation Standard work. Complete all documentation according to GMP and GDP standards.
- Monitor the plant status and liaise with colleagues of other departments to ensure there is no interruption to the manufacturing process.
- Troubleshoot all operating deviations and issues and coordinate with other function when required.
- Responsible for preparation and cleaning of equipment for maintenance work
- Take immediate action to resolve any near miss situations.
- Report all actual, near misses and potential accidents for further investigation.
- Assist in investigation of all actual, near misses and potential accidents. Provide information to troubleshoot and take initiative to resolve operational issues independently.
- Perform system transaction and operation such as LINTS, AMPS, SAP, MIS, EMAS, etc
- Complete all required training by attending scheduled training, CBT, OJT, JSA and read and understand.
- Identify and communicate all operating deviations and problems.
- Participate as a member of the Emergency Response Team.
- Assist in project commissioning and validation activities as necessary.
- Perform task in assigned process train, which includes day to day operation, equipment & line cleaning and documentation.
- Perform operator care, identify and address equipment trains' observations that require mitigation action and/pr raise work order to get back to desired condition.
- Actively participates in CI activities.
- Develop courses of action and drive implementation of solutions

EDUCATION
GCE 'O/A' levels
EXPERIENCE
- Fresh school leaver and up to 2 years' relevant experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical or petrochemical industry.
- Demonstrate ability to act decisively and independently to resolve issues
- Possess a can-do / pride to succeed attitude
- Embrace the use of digital technology to scale and speed up every form of interaction and action
