Work you’ll do
This position aims to provide Management Support to Japanese companies operating in the Southeast Asia Region in the Strategy & Business Design unit. Managers typically have day-to-day responsibility for delivering engagements or major modules of large projects. This includes leading the approach, liaising with clients and other parties and directing the thinking of individuals within the team. For instance, on a growth strategy project for a leading universal bank, one module may be focused on conducting expert interviews and secondary research to understand key market trends, another on gaining a better understanding of unmet consumer needs, and a third on developing financial forecasts of the future performance of existing lines of business. The number of modules varies from case to case and depends on the size of the team and the scope of the project. An important part of the role will include involvement in business development and marketing activities to initiate and maintain contact with target companies.
In leading teams to deliver impact to clients through the project, you’ll:
- Employ a business-oriented mindset and use data-driven solutions to drive transformation agenda and achieve results.
- Leverage expertise in a functional domain to enable client’s strategic agenda.
- Consider opportunities and threats related to end-user adoption when developing recommendations.

Requirements:
- Tertiary education qualification in Business or equivalent.
- At least 8 years of experience working in the above areas at a Consulting or Technology firm.
- Native or Advanced Business level of Japanese communication is required as the role will require liaising with Japanese clients.
- A strong and demonstrated experience in Strategy.
- Background or industry experience in marketing, quantitative analysis and financial analysis.
- Comprehensive knowledge in business strategy, marketing, finance, operations, and data analysis techniques is required.
- Familiarity with JIRA / SQL and Tableau is preferred.
- Strong understanding and working experience in data science and analytics field.
- Experience in planning and proposal-type work for management and business from the perspective of the technology department
· Excellent project management skills, including project planning, resource allocation, and risk management.

Position may be based in Singapore, but project location could be anywhere in the Asia-Pacific Region.
