Job Descriptions:
- Liaise with internal stakeholders on the relevant safety and skills upgrading courses for workers & employees.
- Liaise with the relevant external training providers in processing external course registrations, course confirmation, transportation arrangements, training leave application and ensure that payments are made in a timely manner.
- Liaise and follow up with individual site personnel on workers Coretrade’s trade selection.
- Register qualified workers for Coretrade courses with BCA and the respective Coretrade training providers and follow-up with course confirmation, transportation arrangements, training leave application and ensure that payments are made in a timely manner.
- Answer training related enquiries within the company and assist in the retrieval of certificates, staff project CV, staff photo upon request by site personnel.
- Monitor and maintain the name list of A1 personnel for Sunray and SWC to meet BCA requirement.
- Register for staff’s new and renewal Coretrade with BCA, follow up on the confirmation and Coretrade course registration.
- Claim training grants and absentee payroll with the respective government agencies (BCA, WDA).
- Handle and administrative duties such as setting up internal training via Zoom, attendance records, training evaluation and any other queries related prior to the course.
- Any other ad hoc duties assigned, and queries raised by staff / workers
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in HR or related roles preferred.
- Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
