Main Duties and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for helping us achieve the highest levels of customer experience by ensuring that all systems are operating efficiently to maintain the comfort and safety of our guests. In this role, you will oversee the maintenance and repair of the Resort’s technical systems, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs on our systems and equipment, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Manage and prioritize technical service requests from various departments, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and adhere to the Resort’s policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment inventories, and prepare reports as required.
Job Requirements
- Diploma, Higher NITEC, NITEC in Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing or an equivalent professional certificate.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity, preferably in the hospitality industry. Pre-opening experience would be useful.
- Able to work and coordinate with contractors in all work-related activities.
- Able to commit to after office hours duties when required and/or shift work.
