Description
The IHRP Workplace Transformation, Job Redesign Centre of Excellence (JRCoE) Team is seeking a resourceful and adaptable student with strong oral and written communication skills to support a series of nationwide Job Redesign initiatives (e.g., playbook launches and capability development workshops). The intern must thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy exposure to and supporting multiple projects and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Assist in managing high-impact national projects, such as launching sectoral playbooks and a national online job evaluation tool.
- Coordinate meetings with internal departments, vendors, and industry partners.
- Support Partner Managers in facilitating governance meetings, documenting and sharing minutes.
- Assist in developing project deliverables and reporting decks (PowerPoint).
- Contribute to gathering and sharing best practices and lessons learned within the partner ecosystem.
Workshop and Event Management
- Support end-to-end planning and execution of workshops, including coordination with training vendors, liaising with Marketing on EDM, venue logistics, and managing RSVPs.
- Review and circulate workshop materials and meeting invites.
- Provide on-site operational and logistical support to ensure smooth delivery of workshops.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and attendees to collect feedback and actionable insights for future workshop planning.
- Handle programme-related inquiries and feedback, ensuring prompt and effective responses.
Other Responsibilities
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.
- Opportunity to be involved in national product and project development based on individual capacity and preferences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Events Management, Economics, or a related field.
- Prior experience in project management, events management, or consulting is preferred but not required.
- Strong interest in project and events management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
- Positive attitude, adaptable, and a keen willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
- Proficiency in or willingness to learn Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint.
- Full-time interns preferred (4-6 months).
