We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Risk Management Intern to join our team. This internship is an ideal opportunity for students or recent graduates who are passionate about finance and are looking to gain practical experience in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Risk Control team in the Profit & Loss (P&L) analysis of trading books.
- Assist in analyzing various financial products and instruments to assess PnL and risks.
- Learn about attribution methodology through close collaboration with the product team and Quants.
- Help monitor transactions, exposures, and risks associated with specific Trading Desks.
- Participate in reviewing new transactions and contribute to approval processes.
- Identify process inefficiencies and support initiatives for improvements through automation.
- Assist in maintaining and updating PnL policy documents and application processes.
- Help prepare reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Some familiarity with Python and VBA for financial modelling and analysis is preferred.
- Basic understanding of financial products and instruments.
- Strong analytical skills and quick learning ability.
- Proactive and problem-solving attitude.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when needed.
- Flexibility to work during SG public holidays or shift work to cover Zurich hours is a plus.
