HR Executive (Education Industry)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Executive to join our team in the Education industry. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving the recruitment of staff and teachers, coordinating employee training programs, managing payroll for part-time teachers, and enhancing our workplace culture through effective onboarding and employee engagement initiatives. Key Responsibilities:


Talent Acquisition

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for teaching and non-teaching staff.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates for various roles.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand hiring needs and timelines.
  • Apply for work passes (EP/SP/WP) for foreign talents when necessary.
  • Post and update job listings across multiple platforms to attract the right talent.

Training & Development

  • Plan and organize internal and external training sessions to support the continuous development of employees.
  • Liaise with department heads to assess and address specific training needs.
  • Record training sessions and maintain training documentation.
  • Handle the application of government grants, such as the SFEC, for training reimbursement where applicable.

Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Coordinate onboarding for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Continuously improve onboarding materials and processes to ensure clarity.
  • Work with department heads to develop customised work plans for each new employee.
  • Manage offboarding procedures, including conducting exit interviews and processing relevant documentation.

Employee Engagement & Culture Building

  • Plan and execute employee engagement activities such as team-building events, birthday celebrations, and company outings.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive workplace culture by implementing creative engagement initiatives that promote teamwork and employee well-being.

Payroll Administration

  • Process payroll for part-time teachers, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of HR experience, preferably in the Education sector.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
