- Possess a recognized degree/diploma in Engineering – Environmental/Health/Safety.
- At least 10 years’ experience as WSHO/ECO.
- Provide WSH enforcement support to the Project Team.
- Identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace or work processes.
- Recommend / take reasonably practical action to eliminate any foreseeable risk to any person who is at work in that workplace.
- Ensure safe work procedures are implemented to control risk.
- Recommend reasonably practical measures to minimize the risk.
- To enter, inspect and examine at any reasonable time the work place.
- To inspect and examine any machinery, equipment, plant, installation or article in the workplace.
- To enforce site safety practices.
- To organize safety & health awareness program for the site.
- To conduct site safety & health audit.
- To conduct site safety & health meeting and prepare reports for relevant parties.
- To prepare hazard analysis reports.
- To prepare safety & health management programmes and ensures effective implementation.
- To inspect and examine workplace records, certificates, notices and documents kept or required to be kept under the WSHA.
