Responsibilities
- Manage and review the organization's insurance portfolio, ensuring coverage aligns with risk profiles and regulatory changes.
- Collaborate with brokers, underwriters, and legal teams to negotiate insurance terms, customize plans, and track budgets.
- Support financial analysis, forecasting, and cost-saving strategies related to insurance and risk management.
- Oversee the entire insurance claims process, ensuring timely submissions, settlements, and proper documentation.
- Analyze claims trends, recommend actions to reduce future claims, and prepare risk management reports for senior management.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure risk management processes and insurance policies comply with statutory requirements.
- Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to identify risks, conduct assessments, and implement appropriate insurance solutions.
- Support the development, monitoring, and revision of risk mitigation strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure regulatory alignment.
- Perform risk reviews for contracts and projects, and prepare regular reports on risk exposure, insurance coverage, and claims analysis for senior management.
- Conduct workshops and create materials to enhance awareness of insurance and risk management practices across the organization.
- Maintain stakeholder relationships, aligning insurance and risk management with organizational goals and serving as a point of contact for inquiries.
- Coordinate crisis management efforts, ensuring effective collaboration and real-time communication during emergencies.
Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 3-5 years of experience in insurance and claims, risk management, or related fields.
- Experience within the supply chain industry or in a corporate risk management role is preferred.
- Understanding in various insurance products (General and Finance Lines).
- Proficient in use of MS Office Applications / Microsoft Power Platform Applications
