Senior Product Managers (Video/Saas/LiveStream)
Responsibilities
- Participate in product strategy discussions, understand the product's business model and the international market environment; comprehend client business needs and pain points, and define clear client product requirements.
- Responsible for modules and subsystems related to on-demand and live-streaming cloud services, including content access, B2B transactions, B2C monetization, and daily operations management. Accountable for business metrics such as video source quality, operational efficiency, content transaction success rates, and customer revenue.
- Work with clients to streamline general business processes, plan, design, and implement subsystems like CMS, headend, content trading platforms, and B2C sales and operations. Produce planning roadmaps, product architecture designs, and requirements documentation.
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure timely version release, monitor system status and online data, promptly identify and resolve issues, and continuously optimize system performance and business efficiency.
- Continuously improve the processes of video source access, transmission, distribution, and monitoring to ensure efficient content management and smooth playback.
- Manage the team, set goals and schedules, break down and assign tasks, and be responsible for the team's results
OR
- Provide B-end clients with general client-side solutions for end-users, ensuring that the client’s video content delivers a high-quality user experience across multiple devices. Responsible for user engagement metrics, such as watch time and the number of active users.
- Plan and design video playback apps for TV screens, mobile devices, and web platforms. Consider features such as operational management, distribution strategies, and playback authorization for B-end platforms, delivering roadmaps, feature specifications, and product requirement documents.
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure timely and quality releases, ensuring functionality aligns with expectations.
- Analyze user behavior data, evaluate product performance, and develop improvement strategies to continually optimize the product
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or software engineering
- More than 5 years of experience in planning enterprise-level software systems for content management cloud services, requirements analysis, and product architecture design; or more than 5 years of full product design process experience in large-scale internet platforms (B2B+B2C) with over a million users. Experience with video apps on TV screens and experience in both B-end and C-end products are preferred.
- Familiarity with user experience design principles and mobile app development processes. Strong data-driven mindset with proven experience in successful product iterations and optimization. International product experience is a plus.
- Proficient in using common design tools, with the ability to independently complete product planning and design tasks, delivering comprehensive product design plans.
- Strong communication, collaboration skills, and a sense of responsibility. Capable of leading junior product managers in small team collaborations and coordinating cross-department cooperation to drive project progress and ensure timely delivery of versions.
