Job Overview:
As a Junior UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for supporting the design and development of user interfaces and user experiences for web and mobile applications. You will work closely with senior designers, product managers, and developers to create intuitive and visually appealing designs that enhance user satisfaction and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- User Interface (UI) Design:Assist in designing engaging, responsive, and visually compelling interfaces for digital platforms.
Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize the design process.
Collaborate on the development of UI components, icons, typography, and color schemes.
Ensure consistency with brand guidelines and design standards.
- User Experience (UX) Design:Conduct basic user research, including surveys and usability testing, to understand user needs and preferences.
Support in creating user personas, journey maps, and user flows to inform design decisions.
Help improve user navigation, interaction patterns, and overall product usability.
Assist in analyzing feedback from user testing to iterate and refine designs.
- Collaboration:Work closely with senior designers to learn and execute tasks related to the overall design process.
Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
Participate in team meetings to review design work, receive feedback, and refine deliverables.
- Tools & Technology:Use design software such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, or similar tools to create and share design assets.
Stay updated on the latest UI/UX trends and tools to apply best practices in your work.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of design principles, user-centered design, and UI/UX best practices.
- Familiarity with design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
