Roles & Responsibilities
· Prepare monthly progress claims
· Check and process subcontractor payment certificates
· Process VO claims
· Follow up with project claims and other project accounts related items
· Assist the Tender Manager in quotation / tender preparation
· Interact with the architect and/or the client
· Understand bid/tender documents/drawings/specifications
· Subcontractors sourcing, negotiation and quotation confirmation including contract drafting and confirmation
· Communication with project manager and site team for works that require subcontractors or specialized workers
· Communication with site team for preparation of clarifications, work valuation and certification
· Submission of progress claims and tax invoices to clients and consultants
· Certification of subcontractor’s claims
· Keep track of budget and report for planning
· Other duties as assigned by the Departmental Manager
Job Specifications/Requirements
· Degree or Diploma in building/quantity surveying/civil engineering or its equivalent
· Minimum 2 year of relevant working experience in construction
· Resourceful and maintain good relationship with clients and sub-contractors
· Good teamwork, communication skills and interpersonal skills
· Meticulous, independent, highly motivated and results-oriented
· A good team player and be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
