The Wholesale Director for Crocs Southeast Asia is responsible for overseeing and driving revenue growth across select markets in Southeast Asia, including key markets like the Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Nepal, Brunei, Bangladesh and Cambodia. This individual will work closely with country-specific distributors to optimize sales strategies, maintain brand standards, and maximize market penetration. The role requires a strong balance of leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on operational execution. The role is based in Singapore.
Job Description:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with Crocs’ global objectives.
- Set annual sales goals and monitor performance across all distributor-led markets.
- Ensure sales growth targets are met or exceeded in each country within the SEA region.
Distributor Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with country-specific distributors, acting as a liaison between them and Crocs’ regional office.
- Align distributor activities with Crocs’ brand vision, merchandising guidelines, and retail standards.
- Monitor distributor performance and provide regular feedback to optimize operations, inventory management, and retail execution.
Market Expansion & Penetration:
- Identify and assess new business opportunities in untapped markets within SEA.
- Collaborate with distributors to execute market penetration strategies and build Crocs’ brand presence.
- Conduct regular market visits to ensure brand consistency, gather competitive insights, and assess market needs.
Forecasting & Reporting:
- Assist in forecasting process in partnership with distributors to ensure accurate demand planning
- Provide detailed sales reports and market insights highlighting growth opportunities, risks, and competitive landscapes.
Retail and Channel Development:
- Support distributors in optimizing both B&M and digital channels.
- Collaborate on store formats, merchandising, and marketing efforts to improve the customer experience.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead and manage the team that supports distributor operations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and finance teams to ensure consistent execution across all markets.
Job Requirements:
- 8-10 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a senior role overseeing multi-country operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proven track record of working with or managing distributors, preferably in the fashion, footwear, or lifestyle industries.
- Strong understanding of the Southeast Asian retail landscape.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinking with strong execution capabilities.
- Strong business acumen, including an understanding of P&L management.
- Experience with forecasting, inventory planning, and sales analysis.
- Strong leadership and people management abilities.
- Customer focused/centric.
- Teamwork and respect for others.
- Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in a Southeast Asian language is an advantage.
