Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Application Support Analyst, providing essential support for a variety of banking applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve user requests and incidents in a timely manner, prioritizing based on urgency and impact.
- Conduct thorough investigations of incidents and collaborate with third-party vendors as needed.
- Communicate effectively with users, senior management, and IT stakeholders during the incident management process.
- Perform routine system checks and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal application performance.
- Contribute to change requests and updates to support documentation.
- Identify root causes of recurring issues and propose effective solutions.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SQL and Unix, with a basic understanding of Microservices and CI/CD tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts into understandable terms for non-technical users.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and automation practices is a plus.
- Solution-oriented mindset focused on continuous improvement of application performance and user experience.
Experience
- 4 years of experience in application support, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
