As an Infant/Toddler Educator, you will be responsible for nurturing and educating children aged 0-3 years, creating safe and stimulating environments, and facilitating play & learning activities for our youthful heroes to develop and grow.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop a routine caregiving approach and lesson plans that align with the Early Years Development Framework
- Create developmentally appropriate materials and resources to enhance the quality learning environment
- Document children’s learning and development to better inform planning and teaching
- Ensure that all health, safety, nutritional, and hygiene practices are reviewed regularly and comply with the Star Learners' standard operating procedures
- Implement effective strategies that promote respectful, responsive, and reciprocal relationships with infants and toddlers
- Build positive relationships and partnerships with stakeholders by actively engaging the children’s families and the wider community
Requirements
- WSQ Higher Certification in Infant Care (HCIC)/ Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY)/ Certificate in Infant Care Practice (CICP)
- Certified by Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) as an EY1/EY2 teacher
- IT savvy
