The HR Director will be responsible for overseeing and driving all HR functions within the organisation. This role demands a strategic HR leader capable of aligning HR initiatives with the mission and values of the non-profit, ensuring the recruitment, development, and retention of a high-performing workforce. Key responsibilities include recruitment, talent development, employee relations, and compliance with regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organisational goals. Advise senior leadership on HR policies, workforce planning, and organisational growth.
  • Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: Lead recruitment efforts, ensuring the organisation attracts diverse talent. Oversee onboarding, retention, and workforce planning to meet human capital needs.
  • Performance Management & Development: Design and manage a performance system to support employee development, succession planning, and leadership growth.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement: Advise on employee relations, conflict resolution, and engagement strategies to boost morale and retention.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Develop competitive compensation packages that meet compliance standards and align with the organisation's non-profit ethos.
  • HR Operations & Compliance: Ensure compliance with local laws, manage payroll and employee records, and maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, with a preference for a Master’s degree.
  • 6 - 10 years of HR experience, including 3 - 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, resilience, with patience and determination.
  • Strong commitment to the organisation’s mission and values.
