Singapore Institute of Directors (SID) is Singapore’s national association for company directors. Formed in 1998, its mission is to uplift the directorship profession and champion good governance. Its membership comprises board directors, company leaders, and professionals with an interest in corporate governance. A Governing Council guides the direction and work of the organisation, and SID Committees comprise industry professionals, academics and corporate governance experts.


The Accreditation & Professional Development team, which you will be a part of, oversees the development of accreditation frameworks and tools, as well as new programmes and courses to support the strengthening of SID's positioning in the market as a thought leader for all things directorship and/or governance, and a standard bearer for good governance.


This is a 1-year contract (with an optional 6-month extension) where the individual’s tenure and responsibilities will depend on the specific projects assigned. As part of your role, you will report to and work with the Vice President, Accreditation & Professional Development and the Project team.


The role may also include working with SID’s Accreditation & Professional Development Committee, the SID Executive Team, eco-system partners, and any other relevant committees that are part of the assigned projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop learning content for e-learning modules (SCORM packages, micro-learning videos, quizzes, learning guides, etc.).
  • Admin management of SID’s Learning Management System (LMS); make sure learning modules are set up correctly and generate LMS reports of learner activity.
  • Periodic testing of LMS to make sure system is working correct, work with LMS vendor to report bugs if any.
  • Any adhoc duties assigned

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the content provided by subject matter experts, clients and vendors to design into e-learning content while ensuring performance goals.
  • Convert content provided by SID for nine synchronous modules to e-learning modules that follow the SID branding. Requirements for e-learning module.
  1. Interactive and have a range of interactive elements which will include video (provided by SID), quizzes, reflections, etc.
  2. Develop and maintain SCORM working file
  • Present prepared materials with review panel, gather feedback and make necessary revisions.
  • Familiarise and master SID’s LMS to prepare and upload the learning content to the LMS.
  • Perform user management, platform administration and technical support for online learning;
  • Perform testing of online learning content to meet quality standards and client requirements;
  • Any other duties as may be assigned.


Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of workplace experience in developing interactive e-learning courseware for corporate learning in SCORM or other LMS standards;
  • Experience in LMS platform sand e-learning authoring software such as Articulate Storyline/360;
  • Experience in rapid e-learning development tools for development of videos, infographics, etc.
  • Proficient in graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, llustrator, Canva etc.;
  • Additional skills in video editing and motion graphics using Adobe Creative Cloud Suite; (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects) are a plus;
  • WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) or WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) is an advantage.
