Morgan McKinley is seeking a QA Test Lead for a 12 month contract assignment with a possibility to extend or to go perm!
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of quality engineers to ensure quality and accelerate delivery during Post Go-Live Support.
- Manage defect fixing processes by coordinating with dedicated development teams, test teams, and analysts.
- Conduct defect triage and issue management to prioritize and resolve production issues efficiently.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for 3rd Party Providers (3PP) to address technical challenges and ensure seamless collaboration.
- Produce clear and comprehensive reports and status updates for stakeholders at various levels, translating complex technical issues into understandable terms for non-technical audiences.
- Monitor and report production status, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for telecom-related projects.
- Oversee the prioritization and planning of tasks for a team of support developers and testers, ensuring effective resource allocation and project timelines.
Skills & Qualifications
- Must have 3-5 years experience in production support for CRM projects, specifically with Salesforce and CloudSense.
- Strong understanding of integration layers, order management, and billing processes.
- Background in ITIL and IT Service Management principles.
- Demonstrated skills in defect triaging and issue management.
- Previous experience reporting on production status, SLAs, and KPIs within the telecommunications environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non technical stakeholders.
- Strong leadership abilities, managing and motivating a diverse team.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve issues promptly and make necessary system changes.
