Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare industry, is seeking a Solution Architect to spearhead the development of a modern, secure, and integrated technology landscape. The role involves creating an infrastructure roadmap that incorporates advanced technologies while ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and robust cyber security. As part of the PMO delivery team, the Solution Architect will collaborate across various technology teams to innovate, optimize, and deliver solutions that align with the organization's strategic objectives.
The Role
- Develop and maintain an integrated infrastructure roadmap aligned with business and technology strategies.
- Design and implement solutions for infrastructure covering Modern Workplace, Server, Network, Storage, Cloud, and Cybersecurity.
- Provide technical guidance on best practices during solution design stages, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
- Drive automation and optimization of workflows and technology management.
- ·ranslate component specifications into detailed designs for implementation.
- Review High-Level and Low-Level Designs to ensure alignment with business outcomes and technology standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Ensure solutions minimize technical debt and are adaptable, avoiding technology lock-in.
- Create and maintain architecture documents including infrastructure diagrams, specifications, and configurations.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to infrastructure project teams.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across teams.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Windows Servers, Microsoft Security, Compliance and Identity, CISA, CISSP, CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or ITIL are a plus.
- Minimum 8 years in technical engineering management, infrastructure architecture, or solution architect roles, preferably in a cloud-first environment.
- Proven experience in technology architecture leadership, designing and implementing solutions across infrastructure, application, and security.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code, and various technology/project management lifecycles.
- Experience in IT operations with cross-domain expertise is a plus.
- Knowledge of Compliance and Audit certifications (PCIDSS, Cyber Essential, ISO27001).
- Solid understanding of IT Service Management processes (incident, change, problem management).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to translate complex business needs into technical solutions.
- Strong leadership in driving change, influencing senior stakeholders, and mentoring teams.
- Excellent communication skills for articulating designs to senior stakeholders and translating business needs to technical teams.
