IT Operations Manager

We are looking for an experience and highly motivated IT Operations Manager to oversee our organization's IT infrastructure and ensure the seamless delivery of the IT services. The IT Operations Manager will provide operations and system performance aligning with our business requirements to support strategic goals.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:-

Infrastructure:

1. Manage and lead Infrastructure Team.

2. Facilitate smooth running of IT project operations by supporting the infra needs of project teams.

3. Responsible for infrastructure roadmaps and disaster recovery services to mitigate future service interruptions.

4. Maintain and optimize company networks and servers and recommend improvements.

5. Manage installations, upgrades and configurations of hardware and software.

6. Control costs and budgets regarding IT systems, software and team operations.

7. Liaise with vendors with regards to infra-related hardware/software requirements and costs.

DevOps:

1. Manage DevOps Team.

2. Maintain In-house and/or customer-furnished CI/CD platform.

3. Ensure staff discipline in following DevOps best practices.

4. Streamline processes and reduce overheads so that staff can focus on work that matters.

5. Advocate for security, quality and performance standards in the organization.

Security & Compliance:

1. Ensure compliance to both internal and external SLA.

2. Provide support to internal, external and regulatory audits on technology information security, and ensure committed action items to audit observations are closed in a timely manner.

3. Manage cyber threat alerts and advisories from regulators and other relevant sources to ensure prompt dissemination and follow-up.

4. Responsible for providing strong leadership for all matters relating to operations and Service Desk support, ITIL/ISO processes/guidelines to achieve service excellence.

5. Information Security Manager for ISO 27001.

Requirements:

· BSc/BA in Computer Science, IT or relevant field

· At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in IT infrastructure

· Holistic appreciation of software development and IT infrastructure

· Familiarity with cloud infrastructure is preferred

· DevOps knowledge is preferred

· Disciplined and highly-motivated self-starter who will undertake all activities to the highest professional standards

· Leadership and organizational skills

· Problem-solving aptitude

· Strong communication skills

· Ability to delegate tasks and responsibilities
