Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Regularly review and update HR policies to ensure compliance with labor laws and industry best practices.
- Manage the entire recruitment process, from job postings to candidate interviews and selection.
- Create and execute talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent, while overseeing onboarding processes.
- Handle employee relations, including grievance resolution, disciplinary actions, and conflict management.
- Implement and monitor performance management systems, ensuring timely appraisals and continuous employee development.
- Manage work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations for foreign employees, ensuring adherence to government regulations.
- Oversee payroll administration, benefits management, and leave processing.
- Evaluate and recommend salary structures, bonuses, and incentive programs.
- Identify training needs and develop initiatives to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Organize internal and external training programs to support employee career development.
- Supervise office administration, including lease management, facility upkeep, and vendor coordination.
- Ensure the office environment fosters productivity and complies with safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain compliance with all labor laws, health and safety standards, and internal company policies.
- Prepare and present HR reports to senior management, providing insights on workforce trends, turnover, and other key metrics.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is a plus.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
- Experience with work pass applications, foreign worker regulations, and office administration is preferred.
- Strong understanding of labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
- Prior experience in the construction industry is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage sensitive situations effectively.
- Proven leadership skills with a focus on team development and engagement.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with great attention to detail.
- Proficient in using HR software and systems.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
- Willingness to travel to construction sites and work in both office and field environments.
