About the role
The Senior Payroll Executive is responsible for full spectrum of payroll function including processing of salaries/ wages, pay adjustment, CPF submission, annual tax filing as well as regular headcount & reporting related to payroll, ensuring a high level of data accuracy and compliance. This is a one-year contract position.
What you will be doing
- Manage mid to complex monthly payroll processing across different shift patterns including overtime pay, festive advance pay, ad-hoc payroll and allowances.
- Ensure timely submission of tax clearance for non-local leavers.
- Prepare various quarterly accrual and provision reports for Finance reporting.
- Assist in preparation for journal posting to Finance system.
- Assist to prepare pre-payroll activities (e.g month end data for payroll checking, leave and attendance checking).
- Manage stakeholders enquiries relating to payroll costs, reports and grants computation.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as required.
The successful candidate
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification in HR
- Experience in payroll processing for both white-collar and blue-collar employees
- Highly proficient in MS Excel
- Meticulous
- Highly organised
Desirable
- Prior experience with BIPO system will be an advantage
