Job Descriptions:
(a) To administer and implement an effective Safety and Health Management System (SHMS) in accordance with prevailing legislation and preparation for third-party external safety audit;
(b) Conduct Environmental, Health and Safety Audits as per requirements;
(c) Making certain that all ordinances or orders bearing on occupational safety and health and environmental are complied with local laws;
(d) To prepare and conduct the EHS training for all employees which are identified in RA and SWP;
(e) Measure and monitor the WSH performance of the project and discuss WSH performance in the WHS committee meetings;
(f) Perform ECO duties as assigned;
(g) Implement effective Earth Control Measures (ECM) plan including erosion control and sediment control according to Qualified Erosion Control Professional (QECP) design;
(h) Supervise the Earth Control Measures implemented accordingly;
(i) Devise Earth Control Measures (ECM) operations;
(j) Responsible for maintenance and inspection programme on site;
(k) Assist Qualified Erosion Control Professional (QECP) to monitor the effectiveness throughout various stages of construction;
(l) Obtain the Clearance Certificate to commence works from Public Utilities Board (PUB) by submitting the Earth Control Measures (ECM) Plan, designed and endorsed by the Qualified Erosion Control Professional (QECP);
(m) Install the Earth Control Measures (ECM) on site according to the ECM Plan;
(n) Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time as your superior/management deem fit.
Requirement:
· Specialist Diploma in WSH and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Workplace safety and health (WSH)-related and certificate in ECO
· Must be registered with NEA and IES
· At least 3 years of work experience relevant to the work to be carried out by a ECO cum ECMO.
